BearBreaker is built to keep your information under your control.
What BearBreaker runs on your machine
BearBreaker is local software. Your Alpaca API keys, your positions, your cost-basis ledger, and your outcome journal stay on the computer where you run it. They are not sent to BearBreaker or any third party.
What this website collects
The marketing site collects only what you voluntarily provide: email addresses through the beta list form, and messages through the contact form. Emails are stored so I can reply to you and send beta-related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Stripe. BearBreaker does not store your payment card details. Stripe processes payments according to its own privacy and security practices.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not use third-party tracking cookies. Basic server logs may record your IP address and browser type for security and debugging, but they are not used to profile or advertise to you.
